Azure – The azure portal menu has been refreshed

The Azure portal menu (aka your favourites menu) has been refreshed and now can be hidden, or flyout, giving you more space for your dashboard.

The next time you logon to your Azure portal ( you will be greaten by the below prompt asking you to choose between the flyout (Ok) or the docking mode.

If you choose the flyout, your favourite menu will be displayed only when you click on the ‘Show portal menu’ button (top left)

Then each of your favourites will display relevant information when  you fly by – like the list of the resources, additional links, trainings…

Don’t worry, your choice is not definitive and you can switch between these 2 modes – flyout or docked – by getting to the Portal Settings and then switch the Default mode for the portal menu
